The first public trial of Waymo’s self-driving vehicles in Phoenix

Waymo has been testing its self-driving service for a handful of families in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Recently, it is now reaching out to people to apply for its “Early Rider Program”, as mentioned in its blog. The purpose behind this drive is to learn from people with diverse transportation needs.

The company is accepting a limited number of early riders at this time. As an early rider, the riders will be able to use waymo’s self-driving cars to go places the riders frequent every day, from work, to school, to the movies and more.

Then, the riders will have to share thoughts and experiences with the Waymo team to help shape the future of how the self-driving cars will work.
