Taiwan: ARTC preparing to put driverless cars on the road

The Automotive Research & Testing Center in Taiwan is preparing to put driverless cars on the road. The center has been working on ADAS since 2007 and has now gained the technological expertise to develop self-driving cars. Before launching the cars in real life conditions the center is training them in controlled environment.

The cars developed by the center features has been able to navigate simulations of 10 traffic situation, according to some media reports. The cars also have 10 ADAS capabilities like automatic parking, lane-change assistance and a collision avoidance system.
