USA: Webtech Wireless has announced the immediate availability of Quadrant Manager 9.7 with support for Android smart phones and tablets. Building on the success of earlier iPhone and iPad releases, Quadrant Manager 9.7 offers the same optimized mobile-user experience to customers using Android phones and tablets.
The Quadrant Manager solution also comprises the following new features to help customers maximize their fleet operations using Webtech Wireless location-based services:
- Google traffic and weather data, available as map layers, uses color coding for traffic and icons, and includes extended forecasts for the weather information.
- We are extending our Oil and Gas solutions by offering latest road, well site, pipeline, and legal subdivision (LSD) data in Alberta as new layers on Google maps to ease the work of dispatch teams and drivers and to benefit from the Satellite view available with Google maps.
- We continue to invest in unique temperature monitoring capabilities. Quadrant 9.7 allows precise user control of temperature thresholds and alerts, both inside and outside of geofences, protecting valuable temperature sensitive loads.
- Other features provide improved driver and asset management, especially for larger fleets, yard arrival and departure, and enhanced reporting to make it easier for fleet managers to maximize the time vehicles and drivers are operating for customers.
Scott Edmonds, President and CEO of WebtechWireless “We have accelerated our development efforts and reduced our time to market with new mobile products and enhancements over the last eighteen months. This is the third major release of Quadrant Manager for our commercial and government clients in 2012.”
