Minda iConnect and Microsoft India collaborate to drive connected vehicle technologies in India

It has been reported that Minda iConnect Pvt Ltd and Microsoft India will be collaborating to drive connected vehicle technologies for the automotive industry in India.

The aim of this collaboration is to enhance in-vehicle connectivity and efficiency to provide an enriched driving experience to automotive users in the country.

The companies will also be working on technologies for both the passenger car and commercial vehicle automobile manufacturers to significantly enhance customer experience across – safety, security and entertainment.

The collaboration with Microsoft will help Uno Minda on working on technologies like artificial intelligence, advanced machine learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT) .

In future Indian customers can expect seamless roadside assistance etc. Also, with 4G networks now being widely used in India we can also expect audio, video and news content with connected vehicle programme.
