BMW is recalling 30,000 units of its i3 sold in the U.S

BMW is recalling 30,000 units of its i3 sold in the U.S.  The BMW i3 made its official debut in the ‘States in 2014 Since then, BMW has sold around 30,000 units in the country. The company has announced that every BMW i3 sold in America may need to be recalled.

According to tests by NHTSA females of about 5-feet tall and 110 pounds have a risk of having neck injuries in the event of frontal crash if they do not wear seat belts. It is known that it’s illegal to not wear a seatbelt in 49 of the 50 States, so considering this the company may recall all its i3 cars sold in the country. It is known that BMW i3 is an electric vehicles by the automaker.
